HISTORY

Established in 2001, Berenji & Associates was originally the Law Offices of H.F. Berenji, with offices in Beverly Hills and downtown Los Angeles, California.  In the ensuing years, we enjoyed steady growth as a catastrophic personal injury, family law and business litigation firm on account of our clients' loyalty and the successful results we obtained for them. In January 2005 we consolidated the two offices into one new Beverly Hills location, and added new members to our legal team and a professional management staff in order to facilitate our firm's growth.  We have recently renamed our firm Berenji & Associates, a Professional Law Corporation.

Our lead attorney, Hossein F. Berenji, is a graduate of University of California Los Angeles (UCLA) and Loyola Marymount University. As a second-generation immigrant in the United States, he quickly realized the importance of superior legal representation to maintaining individuals' rights. He started his own law firm to provide clients with such superior representation and has been making their objectives his own ever since.

We are now a multi-lingual firm specializing in the practices of family law, business litigation, and catastrophic personal injuries (including brain damage, paralysis, wrongful death, birth defects, and medical malpractice),. As our accomplishments increase in number, we have not lost what we believe to be one of our strongest assets: our relationship with our clients. We continue to seek our clients' input and opinions in order to ensure that both theirs, and our, legal experiences continue to be as rewarding and enriching as possible.

- Family Law
 
We understand that, as divorce is a sensitive and emotional experience for all involved, it is imperative that we try to understand our clients' goals and emotional needs during the process and provide them with not only legal assistance, but overall support to help then tackle all the issues they face. We make it a policy to try to handle divorces as efficiently and diligently as possible, in an effort to keep them from becoming the drawn out, high cost battles that they so easily can.  For example, after numerous other attorneys had spend over four years litigating a complicated divorce involving millions of dollars in assets, multiple parties, and multiple allegations of fraud, we were hired by our client to finalize the divorce.  As a result of our aggressive and innovative approach to the case, in less than a year, we put an end to the ongoing litigation and the hundreds of thousands of dollars in attorneys fees that had been accumulating. Our ability to resolve and cut short a process that others had not, is something we are proud to have done on this case and numerous others.

At Berenji & Associates, we understand that achieving optimal result for all of our clients necessitates our full understanding of all the facts of a case.  Our experience has shown that this is specially important in business litigation where often, the parties engage in transactions based on mutual oral promises, in the course of ongoing business or personal relationship. As such, we make it a point to spend a substantial amount of time investigating the facts, researching the applicable law, and informing our clients of what all this information means to their legal position, prior to pursuing litigation.
